Volunteer & Save Lives!

  • Trapping Activities

We need dedicated trappers to help manage high populations of community cats in various areas. Our program offers training and partners work together to ensure safety. Trapping requires both strategy and patience, and while it can be challenging at times, the rewards are truly worthwhile.

Not a fan of waiting in alley’s for cats? We can always use the help for transporting cats to and from appointments and canvassing door to door before trapping begins.

  • Fundraising

Funding is crucial when caring for community cats. For instance, deworming costs around $40 per cat. Additionally, some cats require more extensive veterinary care, such as dental work, pain medications, and antibiotics or wound treatment, which can be quite costly.

Fundraising can take any form such as online raffles and auctions, garage sales, selling items on Marketplace, Christmas pet stockings. The sky is the limit!

  • Fostering

Fostering a community cat requires a person with patience and a deep sense of compassion. A quiet space is essential, ideally large enough to accommodate a sizable crate for the cat. Training is available for socializing cats that cannot safely be returned to the streets, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need.

This work is highly rewarding and when you learn to look for the small incremental steps of progress, you will be amazed at the transformations that can be made!

All supplies would be provided for you, including someone to talk to about strategy for socialization and health concerns.

Together we can make a difference!
